  • 200g veggie slices
  • 4 hamburger rolls
  • 70g soy-based drink
  • 140g peanut oil
  • 1 turmeric teaspoon
  • 200g chickpea hummus
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 Tropea red onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Extravirgin olive oil

Add the chickpea hummus in a blender together with the veggie slices. Form 4 balls and squash into patties. Slice the tomatoes and the Tropea red onion. Pour a few oil drops and the soy-based drink in the blender and add the turmeric. Blend until getting a soy-based mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper. Cut in half the rolls and warm in the oven. Spread some mayonnaise on the internal side of each bread slice. Simmer the veggie burger in a non-stick pan with a few drops of oil. Season with salt and pepper. It now time to create the hamburger. Place the veggie burger on the bottom half of the roll, then spread over a tablespoon of mayonnaise, lay over the lettuce, tomato slice and lastly the onion. Put the other roll half over and if necessary use a wooden stick to hold together.
