The Felsineo Group, through its two companies Felsineo S.p.A. Società Benefit and FelsineoVeg S.r.l. Società Benefit, has been operating since 1963 as a major Italian food company, a leader in the production of mortadella and vegetable-based cold cuts.
The Felsineo Group is strongly committed to sustainability issues, addressing environmental, economic, and social aspects. In particular, in the social sphere, it is committed to equality and inclusion to drive corporate results and create a better future, every day, for all employees, customers, and the community.
The Group has chosen, through the implementation of a gender equality management system, compliant with UNI/PdR 125:2022 and integrated with current corporate management systems, to continue its ongoing journey of enhancing and promoting gender equality issues in a more structured manner. (Diversity Equity and Inclusion), protecting diversity and equal opportunities in the workplace and women’s empowerment.
This DEI Policy is defined by the Felsineo Group’s Senior Management and Board of Directors, in coordination with the Steering Committee, and encompasses the organization’s principles, objectives, and commitment to gender equality, diversity, and inclusion.
As the Felsineo Group, we are committed to:
- Applying organizational processes for the selection, management, and development of human resources that promote an inclusive culture of equal opportunities.
- Implementing internal and external communication, information, and training processes that convey commitment to DEI issues and foster stakeholder awareness of these issues.
- Promoting an inclusive and safe work environment for our workers.
Through the DEI Strategic Plan and the monitoring of specific performance KPIs, the Felsineo Group defines and monitors the following objectives, consistent with the thematic areas of UNI/PdR 125:2022: This Policy represents the manifesto of its commitment:
- Culture and Strategy – Promote an inclusive organizational culture, focused on gender equality and the valorization of diversity, through awareness-raising initiatives, listening, and effective communication.
- Governance – Define roles, responsibilities, and a governance model capable of integrating DEI principles into the company strategy, ensuring the identification, management, and counteraction of any discrimination or inequality.
- HR Processes – Ensure fair and impartial human resources management processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle, in compliance with the principles of equal opportunity and inclusion.
- Growth Opportunities and Inclusion – Ensure equal access, professional development, and career advancement opportunities, promoting transparent, meritocratic, and gender-neutral career paths and all other forms of diversity.
- Equitable Remuneration – Promote and monitor equitable and transparent remuneration systems, ensuring equal pay for equal roles, responsibilities, and skills.
- Protection of Parenthood and Work-Life Balance – Support the Parenting and personal well-being through corporate welfare policies and organizational flexibility tools, promoting a sustainable work-life balance.
