
Spinach

A herbaceous plant rich in vitamin A and folic acid. The iron content is certainly good but not as high as believed. High levels of oxalic acid reduce the absorption of calcium and iron, but this problem can be solved by combining spinach with lemon juice, rich in vitamin C.
